LEARNING CENTERS

Student at desk
The Salvation Army operates multiple Learning Centers in Central Ohio, providing academic support, achievement test preparation, tutoring and mentoring to students from Columbus City Schools in grades 1-8.  There is also a summer enrichment and recreation component. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

To enroll your first through eighth-grade child in one of our Learning Center Programs, please contact our Learning Center Staff:

To Volunteer:

We are recruiting volunteers to tutor students in math and reading at the Learning Centers one day a week for two hours after school.  We ask volunteers to commit to this opportunity once a week
or a minimum of 10 weeks.  Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.  Due to working directly with minor children, a current Ohio BCI/FBI background check is required of all volunteers.  Please contact Nikki Fogg at 614-358-2627 or by email at Nikki.Fogg@use.SalvationArmy.org.
